And as I am (try) to be on a diet, (Actually I'm doing really good, although I make all those sweet treats. I just don't eat them.) I want to cook more healthy. Less meat etc.
I look at all those tasty vegetables and think what can I cook with them and yesterday I was in my parent's garden and saw so much chard.
And there are so many ways to cook with it. But the problem is, the kids have to eat it too. So I need a cute packaging.
Well, LittleBoy probably isn't really interested how it looks but how it tastes. He is so picky.
With BigBoy I hadn't any problems with eating. He also ate 3 or 4 days the same. But that's not how it works with LittleBoy. Two days the same? No way...
Every child is really different.
So the packaging is more for BigBoy and kind of for me too. I like to eat good looking food. :)
Anyway, I took lots of chard home and made Mini Quiche today.
Ohhhh...they were so tasty.
BigBoy ate two and LittleBoy ate...well, I don't know. He likes to eat on his own. He is just 8 months old. And you can imagine how the floor and everything around him looked afterwards.
The important thing is, he ate it. And he really doesn't like much.
So no accurate recipe today just pictures.
Forgot to measure.
But for the dough I used about 250 g flour, 100 g butter, salt, baking powder, a bit water.
And the rest I made out of chard, 3 eggs, milk, sour cream, 1 garlic glove, 1 onion, salt, pepper, just a bit flour.
Cheese would have been good, but I don't have any at home. Or even better would have been goat cheese. *drooling*
Look at these pictures and drool with me. ;)
